I want to see the sea: staying at the holiday houses in Deiva Marina or those in Corniglia and Riomaggiore, you can easily visit the Golfo de Tigullio, Portofino, or Golfo Paradiso and the city of Genoa to the west and the La Spezia coast, the Cinque Terre and the Golfo dei Poeti or Versilia to the east.
What to see in the interior: It is also easy to go to places like Garfagnana, and the Alpes Apuanos, Lunigiana, the Vale del Magra, the Val di Vara, the Val Graveglia, the Val d'Aveto and the Val Fontanabuona.
Hiking trails and trekking: A network of interesting Azzurri (Blue) and Verdeazzuri (green-blue) trails connect Genoa to La Spezia, thus allowing you to visit the most beautiful locations along the Ligurian coast on foot. Bogliasco, Pieve Ligure, Sori, Recco, Camogli, San Fruttuoso in the Golfo Paradiso; Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Zoagli, Chiavari, Lavagna, Cavi, Sestri Levante, Riva Trigoso Moneglia, the Golfo del Tigullio, Deiva Marina, Framura, Bonassola, Levanto, the coast in La Spezia; Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre; Portovenere, Le Grazie and La Spezia in the Golfo dei Poeti.
Bicycles and mountain bikes: For the clients in the holiday apartments in Deiva Marina, there is a place to put bicycles and other equipment and there is a small garage and self-service Laundromat. Some interesting paths for downhill or for freeride are available in the neighboring areas while between Framura, Bonassola and Levanto, there is a new cycle path through the old train tunnels which you can also use to arrive in Deiva Marina by train or by a micro-bus from the Hotel Clelia.
Motorcycles: just like for bicycles, there is a protected area with a small garage for maintenance and cleaning.
Children: Families with children can feel at home in our apartments and can enjoy the equipment available at the Hotel Clelia Logis only 100 meters away.
Boats: if the sea allows it, a boat service makes the connection between Portovenere and the locations around Cinque Terre and Levanto during almost the entire year. This service is provided by the "Navigazione golfo dei Poeti". Portofino is connected to Santa Margharida, São Fruttuoso and Camogli with the boats. It deals with, in any way, only the transportation of people, not cars like with ferries or ferry-boats. Deiva Marina is connected by boat to the Cinque Terre and Portofino only in the summer months.
The train: although the Genoa - Livorno highway that crosses the entire Levante Coast, the train is, without a doubt, the best way to visit the coast without the stress of looking for a parking place or paying attention to traffic. The Cinque Terre in particular, has a few narrow streets and little parking. All of the locations on the coast have a train station and the local trains leave every hour on the hour.
